Searching for an old tomb
Buried among bramble and thorns
The wails of the lifeless beckon me
Disincarnative allure

A king, a knight, a peasant
All welcome me
No castle, barrack, or shack
Just these old stones
Marking the ground
we all one day share

Side by side, through the ancient trees
The lifeless lead me
On my quest to find humility

Upon a desolate hill
A lonely stone stands tall
Shining and devoid of wear
Shrouded in the fog

The lifeless three depart
The hill becomes a chasm
From which there is no escape
I slowly become translucent
As life gradually fades
My humility is found at last
